There is some terrible software out there, so I thought I’d mention this.
If you are trying to find out how to burn xbox 360 games, and you see some advertisements for free software to get it done, I would be really weary about that.
A lot of that software is actually viruses and other malicious programs that are just trying to hijack your computer, or even get your credit card information to steal your identity. There are other viruses which can destroy your Xbox too.
Here’s an example:
Some of the bad software will actually let you copy a game or something, but once you put the new game in the Xbox, there will be a virus on there that will ruin it. It’s just bored, terrible people online, who have nothing better to do. Avoid them at all costs.
The Keys to Staying Safe
When trying to burn an Xbox game, it’s usually better to go with some software which will get the job done properly. You might have to pay $10 or $20 for it, but it’s worth it. Instead of buying a few hamburgers, or a pizza, you can just get the software that will let you copy any game that you wish, over and over again. (There is no limit to how many games you can burn.)
The good software also works for PS3 and Wii, so you can even lend it to your friends so that they can backup their software too.
All in all, treat this like you would any delicate situation. Don’t hang out on any sites that look a bit bad, and don’t download anything that you aren’t 100% sure about. If you do then you are just begging for a virus, and that’s probably what you’ll get.
How to Copy Xbox Games Without Getting a Virus
Now for the good part. If I say there are tons of viruses online, how do you copy Xbox games without getting one?
Well, you only go with the software that is tried and tested, and recommended by reputable people. That’s really the only way that you can be sure you will get something of high quality. Checking reviews is something that should be second nature to all of us now, because of all the scams that are running rampant online.
Once you follow the golden rule of checking reviews before, you shouldn’t have a problem. If the company that made the program has a good reputation and is in good standing with the people who are using it, then you’re good to go. From there you can give it a download and see how it works for you.
I hope that this post helps a bit, even at the least to create some awareness. Be careful of what sites you go to and what software you download.
In the next post I will have a full review of the best program to use when trying to burn Xbox 360 games, so look out for that.
Good luck!
